Writer's Corner

As promised this corner of the blog with be dedicated to some new authors who are releasing books, we are doing this in hope that it will help them with spreading the word.

So the first to this corner is a book called Blaze Tuesday and the Case of the Knight Surgeon by Kai Kiriyama , it's the first instalment in this detective series.

Here's the book description for y'all:

Fashion trends change faster than the seasons. The newest trend had become clockwork body modification and it had hit the streets of New York with a vengeance, enticing kids of all ages and backgrounds to get illegal “upgrades” performed by surgeons of dubious medical backgrounds.
Some things never change; crime in New York was one of those things.
When one of the good surgeons trying to help the kids who had fallen between the cracks of an already broken system of illegal medical procedures turns up dead, his death sparks an investigation into the heart of the system by the police, and by the clockwork medical firms that produce the parts.
Meet Blaze Tuesday – a retired cop turned private eye, and his partner, Jackson Early. Two of New York’s most elite private investigators; their reputations as good cops and even better detectives make them the first choice in high profile cases and they’re hired to find out who would kill a surgeon just trying to help.
Blaze’s investigation cracks open the rotten inner workings of a system of medical malpractice and intellectual fraud. But who has the most to lose when it comes to controlling the illegal implants?
It shall be released 03-19-13

Our next shout is for Even in the Darkness (Between #3) by Cyndi Tefft!

I Thought it was over, that all our troubles were behind us.
We had a fairytale castle wedding surrounded by family and friends. Aiden wore a dress kilt, looking so handsome it made my heart squeeze, and I floated on air in a white version of the ball gown he’d cast for me in Versailles. Flower girl, ring bearer, Scottish ceilidh afterward—check, check, and check. It was perfect.
We were supposed to live happily ever after.
But that was before I walked in to find another woman in his bed, a demon with blood red eyes who’d disguised herself as me in order to get what she wanted most: a child from a heaven transporter.
And it was in that moment—watching my entire world crumble to the ground—that I knew.
This was not over. Not by a long shot
.

It will be released April 1st, 2013
